I luv Alan Rickman, he's a great, amazing actor, I'm only afraid I don't understand much of what he says. Don't get me wrong - I don't speak english well and it's hard for me to understand anything because of his british accent. Still, I reckon it's a fantastic movie. I must watch it!

I think many of their songs are about not fitting in. 'Alpha-Beta parking lot,' Even Never There... they all have an undertone of being sub-par with "everyone" else... or heart break, which compliments the mariachi-esque instrument selection. It is a classy and interesting music group that challenges everyday genuineness... since people are so damn fake. It's just fits. =)

I think that the song is supposed to be sarcastic. In the way that if you follow the crowd (like a sheep) then you'll be cool and popular etc. ((go to heaven)) Whereas if you're different and do what you want, like a goat, then you're an outcast ((go to hell)) Its trying to say that this is silly, but in a super awesome cake way :) x

thats a whole matter of opinion. Bonham was recognized as the backbone of Zepelin, and he was recognized from everyone, so Led Zeppelin had trouble going on w/o Bonham. I love AWB as much as the next guy, but i really dont pay attention to anyone besides McIntyre, Stuart, and Gorrie, and theyve been in it forever. So it wasn't that big of a deal if they lost a sax player or a drummer, it might not be as big of a deal.

They did something different in its time. They got down to business and played the funk straight and clean. No other funk was so crisp and served up without any extra. These guys just figured out how to build crisp funk. A lot of gaudy, sloppy funk in its era could not compare. They also kept it going for decades.

ozhall3, Alan Gorrie--who sings the lead here--was usually the band's bassist in it's original iteration. When CTC was done back in 1975, Gorrie and Hamish Stuart switched, with Stuart going to the bass and Gorrie doing the plucked ax. Stuart went on to play in Paul McCartney's band and sang the lead when David Sanborn covered Al Green's "Love And Happiness". I think he left AWB in 1982, and only played with them again at Atlantic's 40th Anniversary.
